Jeff Boyd has over 27 years of legal experience and has tried over 100 civil jury trials to verdict. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Law, Columbus, Ohio, of Kent State University, Kent, Ohio, and is licensed to practice law in both Washington and Ohio. Jeff has spent the majority of his legal career in Columbus, Ohio, as a partner in large law firms and as the head of his own law office. Jeff has served as President of the Franklin County Trial Lawyers Association. In addition, he served as a Board member of the Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers and received the President's Award. Over his career, Jeff has represented hundreds of people who were injured as a result of motor vehicle collisions, unfair treatment by insurance companies, wrongful death, medical negligence, defective products, and police abuse and misconduct. He has also litigated numerous business, probate, and family law disputes.
In addition, Jeff has spoken and lectured extensively on a variety of legal topics including trial skills, insurance coverage matters, and changes in the law that affect personal injury claims. Jeff is an Eagle member of the Washington State Association for Justice where he serves on the Legislative Steering Committee and the Editorial Board of the Trial News. In addition, he is an active member of the American Association for Justice and Public Justice.

Deborah Nelson has over 16 years of legal experience and has tried dozens of cases before judges and arbitration panels. She is a graduate of Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, Georgia, and of the University of Cincinnati College of Law. She has spent her legal career in Washington as a partner at a Seattle law firm and on the Olympic Peninsula where she ran her own law firm for 10 years. She continues to regularly represent clients in Kitsap, Jefferson, and Clallam counties. Deborah served as President of the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association (now known as the Washington State Association for Justice) and continues to serve on that association's Board of Governors. She also served as President of the Council of Presidents of the American Association for Justice and continues to serve as a State Delegate to that association.
Deborah has been named a Super Lawyer by Washington Law & Politics magazine every year since 2003, was named Best Attorney in Clallam County by a readers' poll of the Peninsula Daily News, received the Distinguished Service Award from the Clallam Pro Bono Lawyers, and was awarded the Woman of Distinction Award by Soroptimist International.
Deborah is a frequent speaker, especially in the areas of traumatic brain injury and insurance litigation, and has lectured locally, nationally, and internationally on a variety of legal topics. She has also written numerous articles, as well as book chapters on insurance coverage and insurance bad faith litigation. Deborah focuses her practice in the areas of traumatic brain injury, serious personal injury, insurance coverage, and insurance bad faith litigation.
Deborah is an avid road cyclist who has completed 9 centuries on her bike. She is a member of the cycle team for Team in Training and raises money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to fund research, treatment, and patient services for those suffering from blood cancers. She also enjoys running, traveling, and spending time at her second home in Sequim, Washington.
