Attorney John A. Berg
Fisher & Phillips LLP – Portland, OR
John Berg is Of Counsel in the Portland Office. He has litigated employment and traditional labor matters for over a decade -- from state and federal discrimination, harassment, and retaliation suits, to workplace privacy and defamation claims, to unfair competition litigation involving trade secret misappropriation and breach of non-competition agreements. His traditional labor experience includes state and federal lawsuits concerning unlawful picketing and breach of collective bargaining agreements, as well as unfair labor practice charges at the NLRB. John has tried cases to juries in federal court and before arbitrators at the National Association of Securities Dealers (now FINRA). One of his recent jury trial victories came against the EEOC in a Title VII religious accommodation case in the Western District of Michigan. John has also briefed and argued appeals in both state and federal courts.

Attorney Alyssa Engelberg

Alyssa Engelberg is an associate in the Portland office where she practices in all areas of labor and employment law. Prior to joining the law firm, she clerked for the Honorable Stephen K. Bushong of the Multnomah County Circuit Court. While in law school, she served as an extern at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, interned for the legal departments of various public and private sector employers, and volunteered for the Legal Aid Society-Employment Law Center.

Corbett Gordon is founder of and Senior Counsel in the Portland office. She has represented employers in Oregon and Washington since 1982. For many years, Corbett taught the employment law course as an adjunct professor at Willamette University College of Law.
